A spice curry shop near Hatchobori.I ordered chicken curry.(My friend had dashi curry)It looks amazing!Looks stylish and delicious! To be honest, I would say the taste was just average.I think I'll add a punch of flavor. However, it's a bright curry that doesn't seem to use wheat at all.If anything, I feel like both are soup curries. The spiciness level of the chicken curry was high, but to be honest, if you can tolerate a little spicy food, you can afford it.There are 5 types of curry, and it is truly amazing that one owner can make 5 types of curry! All prices are 1500 yen.
I visited on a Friday around 7pm.The store was about 40% full.It looks like it will be busy as it is a one-time operation in the store and accounting is not based on food tickets.Water is self-serve and there is a server at the entrance of the store.I ordered "Neo Green Curry ¥1,500"The beautiful looking green curry has just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. The richness of the soup stock is very delicious! The ingredients are excellent, such as fried lotus root, okra, and eggplant.Good taste reminiscent of soup curryAnhydrous chicken is quite delicious. This is delicious.I devoured it in no time.I think this is a high-quality curry that will make you want to check out the other menu items as well.
Dashi curry was delicious, and the lamb curry tasted very Indian-inspired. Worth a visit if in the area. Service can be a little slow but not an issue if you are not in a rush.
Green cutlet curry 1700 yenI was the 5th person to arrive, about 5 minutes before the store opened at 11:30.Please note that you have to write your name and line up here. It's a cutlet with Iwanaka SPF, so it comes out semi-rare, but as you can see, it's a little dry. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't have the flavor unique to rare tonkatsu. The dashi green curry, which does not use coconut milk, had bonito flakes on it, and when you mixed it in, it tasted like a dashi curry.
Wakka is a famous spice curry restaurant that I have been curious about for a long time but never had the chance to visit. Hatchobori is the closest, but Kayabacho and Takaracho are also not far away. I visited right after it opened, and was able to snag a seat at the counter. Inside the store, there are table seats on the left side as you enter, counter seats facing the wall in the back, and counter seats on high stools and the kitchen on the right side.I ordered "Green cutlet curry (100g 1,700 yen)". Both the cutlet and curry are both delicious and have a reputation for being a menu item. There are many other interesting menu items such as ``Dashi Green Curry & Delicious Anhydrous Chicken'', ``UMAMI Chicken Dashi Curry & Delicious Anhydrous Chicken'', ``Kando Lamb Keema'', and ``New Era Cutlet Curry''.The green cutlet curry that came after a while looked just like the photo. A carefully cut cutlet and pepper on top of the rice. First of all, when I tried just the cutlet, I found that it was quite deep-fried. The pasteurization is perfect, and the seasoning is light, perhaps in consideration of its compatibility with the curry. And curry. When you first take a sip, you'll notice a slight spiciness, but then there's a hint of soup stock, and the end is refreshing. It's a very strange green curry, and I've never had it anywhere else. It's also interesting that this green curry and cutlet go perfectly together. Before I knew it, I had finished eating. As expected of Wakka. I have to try other curries too!

Taste it for the first time! A gourmet hunt for curry with surprising soup stock✨[Visit] Weekdays 18:00There were about 3 groups waiting for the store to open, and we got in right away!【order】■Dashi green curry & delicious anhydrous chicken/small rice (1,200 yen)・Green curryNo coconut milk? ! The taste is surprisingly amazing. It's rich and sweet, but it's so light that you can easily go with it. Is this the soup stock? The pork belly fat in it brings out the flavor. It's about as spicy as regular curry. Be careful if you don't like spicy food!·chickenThe well-cooked chicken is crumbly. The sweet taste goes well with rice! The hard-cooked rice and colorful side dishes complement the curry.By the way, you can choose from small to average rice! This time I asked for a small size (90g).I would like to visit again for the green cutlet curry that I was interested in and the topping Marucho devil that was sold out ✨
Super creative Japanese spice curry! A roadside store located on a quiet street, just off Hatchobori. ``Dashi green curry'', a specialty of the ``dashi curry'' genre, is impressive with its bright green appearance. The spice effect, exquisite spiciness and umami, and a highly complete dish, it's a one-of-a-kind taste that can only be found here. Impressive lamb keema and delicious spicy malcho devil should be double toppings! I want to visit this regularly.☑ Dashi green curry & anhydrous chicken (1,200 yen)Additional toppings + impressive lamb keema & spicy malcho devil (500 yen)[How to eat Wacca dashi curry]Mix everything roughly so that it is not evenly distributed, and eat while it is still warm to enjoy the taste of the ingredients!it was delicious! I am satisfied with the strike, which suits my personal taste. I want to try the cutlet curry only available at night!
Visited on a weekday night. The store was deserted. I guess the customers are regulars. Chatting with the staff at the counterOrdered UMAMI chicken stock & anhydrous chicken, and impressive lamb keema toppings. Served in about 10 minutes. Looks great! It feels likeTake a bite right away. Oh, the dashi soup is effective. The taste is delicious. However, as I continued to eat it, there wasn't enough roux or curry soup... Maybe I wasn't eating the right balance, but in the second half I was more rice and the taste was bland... Too bad.The disappointing point is that it would have been better if the balance between rice and roux had been better.Another disappointing point is that they seem to be busy chatting with regular customers.
I went to the store around 1pm on Saturday. It wasn't crowded so I took my seat quickly.Ordered chicken stock + anhydrous chicken curry.Anhydrous chicken is so delicious. The soup stock also works well in the curry.Finely chopped vegetables add texture. The rice is a mix of long and thin rice and regular rice.
A popular curry restaurant in Hatchobori. 1 group waiting 15 minutes before opening.Lamb keema is added to the chicken soup curry and anhydrous chicken curry set for 1,500 yen. Looks beautiful. Anhydrous chicken is packed with flavor and delicious. The lamb keema has a strong flavor, and the meat is filling and delicious. The dashi curry blended well with the rice.Disappointing except for the food. I was given a single seat in the back, but the acrylic partition was dirty. Customers sit facing each other, making it look like a shared table. The menu is posted at eye level so that customers don't make eye contact, but it's uncomfortable because you're so close to customers you don't know. Immediately to the right is a pile of purchased cardboard boxes. A TV is hung on the wall directly behind, showing live images of idols at high volume. It wasn't a very relaxing environment to eat. It's a shame because the restaurant itself is beautiful and the curry is delicious.
I arrived about 5 minutes before opening on Saturday and was the first one in. There were a lot of seats, and everyone who lined up behind us was able to get a seat. I ordered the delicious anhydrous chicken. The chicken was tender and delicious. The dal that comes with free refills also had a rich bean flavor.
A 3-4 minute walk from Hatchobori Station is ``Japanese Spice Curry Wakka,'' which was selected as one of the 100 famous Tabelog curry restaurants. I think most people call the store Wakka for short. Some people think that the restaurant became famous because it was selected as one of the 100 famous curry restaurants, but among curry enthusiasts, it has been a hot topic for a long time, so everyone was satisfied when it was selected. This time I came to try the cutlet curry that I had always wanted to try! !Hatchobori Wakka's "New Era Cutlet Curry"I was sitting on a spacious floor and watching the food being cooked. After the pork cutlets were fried, they let them rest for a while, drained the fat, and preheated them. I couldn't stop getting excited while watching the tonkatsu being cooked in a professional manner!Perhaps because the sauce is to concentrate on the tonkatsu, it looks like it's simply made up of vegetables, so it's crunchy and smooth! It's nice to mix it up like a thick sauce, but it's also nice to have a crunchy texture. This combination is innovative.Tonkatsu is Iwanaka pork SPF shoulder loin! As expected, it is well finished! This time I made it 180 grams! The batter is thin and fried with fine bread crumbs! This is very important, because if the batter is thick, the oil will be heavy and the curry will be difficult to eat. On that point, Wakka's cutlet is a cutlet exclusively made for cutlet curry! Even though it's so thick, you can eat it crispy!Even though it's so thick, it's soft! It's moist inside. This cutlet is so delicious that you'll want to eat it as a regular tonkatsu set meal. This little bit of fat is also delicious...so juicy that you can't help but smile and nod...I've actually eaten Wakka's Marucho Devil before, and I bought a frozen one at a curry festival held at Isetan! It was so delicious that I ended up buying four more the next day.The Marucho Devil is made with the spicy Marucho hormone, and is plump and delicious with sweet fat. This side menu is irresistible for hormone lovers! If you like hormones, you should definitely order this, and if so, you'll want to eat it in a hormone bowl. When you think about it that way, all of Wakka's cooking has a quality that makes it stand alone...it's amazing. Moreover, on this day, the owner, Mr. Miura, made the curry, and I was very satisfied with the black pepper flavored curry!Wakka recently opened a curry stand in Yoyogi, so be sure to check it out!
Walk from Shintomicho to Hatchobori 2-chome. Early lunch at a spiced curry restaurant from Osaka.Added “Kando Lamb Keema” to ① “UMAMI Chicken Dashi Curry & Anhydrous Chicken”.The silky chicken soup curry and rice is a mix of basmati and Japanese rice, and you can eat it in one go. "Curry is a drink". Chicken tikka-style chicken is served on top, creating a fun contrast of textures. The anhydrous chicken on top of the rice is packed with flavor and is also delicious. Finely chopped vegetables, cheese, and grilled bacon (?) also go well together.Kando Lamb Keema has a unique texture with coarsely ground lamb meat in just the right chunks. It has the power of rum, yet has an elegant taste.I'm about 80% hungry, but my taste buds have been thoroughly stimulated and I'm satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
